Welcome! I have established this webpage in order to share what I have learned and collected about the Schroeder and Tumbush family trees with friends and other family members. Above, you will find links to subpages chronicling the various families included in these family trees. To get started, click on your surname or your mother's or grandmother's maiden name. Included are newspaper clippings, photos, U.S. census documents, as well as immigration, Social Security, birth, marriage, and death records. All attachments are available for download to your personal computer for your records. If you find that a historical document is too difficult to read, please let me know which one and I will try to post a transcribed version.
Pages are arranged in chronological order and in outline form. Links are provided within every family group to take you to additional pages where ancestors from the maternal lines will be listed. Direct ancestors are in colored font with stars (**), but brothers and sisters of these individuals are also listed because their documents oftentimes provide important information about their parents (who ARE direct ancestors).
This is a working family tree; information listed for each individual may not yet be completely verified and/or finalized. If you have questions about source documentation regarding any of the documents posted, please contact me at [email protected] or contact me through social media (see below).
My family history blog, The Spiraling Chains, is published on this site, as well as on my other site: http://kowalski-bellan.weebly.com. I also publish the blog, Growing Little Leaves, which aims to discuss movies, books, and activities that are helpful in introducing young children to family history vocabulary and concepts.
